I COMPLETELY agree, this is a SHAMELESS bait-and-switch and BLATANT false advertising on AT&T's part!
To make matters worse, I was told by the rep I talked to that turning data roming off in your iPhones settings does NOTHING domestically. Apparently that setting CONVIENIENTLY only works outside the United States. So, in effect, they also activly disable the one user setting which could tell customers they are outside of AT&T's coverage, then penalize us for using what we understand to be their service when in reality it isn't. There has GOT to be some law they are breaking here!
