I have a grandfathered contract with unlimited data for $59.90. But since May 2014 get messages about my plan expiring and get shut down after 5GB. ATT is not honoring their contract ( runs until 12/2014) and want to force me in a limited plan. I have with 2 cellphones with also a 2GB shared data plan what is more then enough for me and my wife on our smart phones. I need my mifi when I travel on buisness.
I have been a loyal ATT customer for 10 or more years and I am not using my unlimited data plan much mostly I average less than 2GB but there are month I may run into 12GB but cannot anymore as it should be down after 5GB.
I understand that things change but etleast it should not change until the contract is over. I am thinking about to get a contract for a mifi with Verizon I know it is not much better but it is the pricipal how I got treated by ATT and ther customer service. I should mention that I had a helpful person within the ATT store which did there best to go behind the problem but she got as fare as she could with the same answer I got "there is no unlimited data plan".
