I recently changed my AT&T phone number and I assume set up a new account. Now I am unable to set up voice mail. I have talked to several Customer Support Reps, and was eventually sent to a local AT&T store for a new SIM card. They offered a new SIM card, but I would lose the money that was currently available for service minutes.
After another call to AT&T by the store Rep. it was reported that the phone I use was too old to have a voice mail account? I have used this phone for several years, with several different AT&T accounts and always had voice mail.
Is there a viable solution that does not include the purchase of a new phone or another contract?
