I've had this problem on and off again for the past two months and I can't think of many things more frustrating and irritating than this problem. Starting in early August, I stopped receiving texts. I will be able to send texts, and receive and make calls but unable to receive them. After about 3 days in irritable solitude, the problem would fix itself on the midnight of the third day and all the texts would flood in all at once.
I've called customer support. I was told to go to my local ATT store to receive a new SIM card. I did just that and that was a month ago. Since then I've run into the same problem twice, today being the second time (no less frustrating). I've looked online for countless hours searching for a solution, on this community board and many others. I've restarted my phone, I've removed the battery for 10 seconds and put it back in and restarted it, I've taken out my SIM card and put it back in, over-the-phone tech support seem to be confused and baffled, and I've gone through just about any and every option I can in my phone's settings.
I don't know what causes the problem, but I'd really like to know how to fix this and to prevent this problem from happening in the future. This is essentially my last resort because I'm tired... so tired of this and I just need help.
