I appreciate your input, but you're clutching at straws as far as I can see. Don't take this as a personal attack, but the facts seem to speak for themselves.
AT&T offers 50 cruise ship voice minutes for $30 as a separate plan, let's subtract that from the $120 they want for their cruise package. So we have $90 left for 100 Mb and 100 texts. If as you say, AT&T can match Verizon on $25 per 100 Mb data costs, then they currently want $65 for 100 text messages.
Or, let's look at it another way. They have 50 voice minutes and 100 text messages listed for $60. When they add 100 Mb of data the charge becomes $120. So, to me it seems they are upcharging $60 for the data. Verizon charges $25 for the same 100 Mb of data. Is there a flaw in this analysis?
Do you really think Verizon wants to, needs to, or actually offers this at a loss? Could it be that AT&T is gouging their customers?
