While your get paid by At&t I pay At&t and I pay not for an Iphone, not because of all that At&t is but for SERVICE, for a Call to go through and internet use.
...You are slightly mistaken here. AT&T does not pay me, and in fact, I pay them, just like you do.
Ok then I take that back, I thought you were an employee.
I was with At&t back when they were Cingular, in fact a common misconception is At&t bought Cingular and it was the other way around.
But that is ancient history
At&t needs to step it up
This whole ordeal made me do research on Data and Plans,
Most of the other carriers offer more data at competitive price points, no matter what value you think is here, Verizon for instance offers 15gb of data for share at 110, so for 10 dollars more there is is 50% more data than At&t at 100, so a better value
Verizon and At&t are equals for coverage and are the real cometitors here, Tmobile and Sprint are not equals to them but to each other, then there are the other players that are owned by different interests including the big two.
Personally I do not like Verizon (CDMA) because I do not like not having a GSM phone, although that is changing and Verzon is becoming GSM. SO I have two choices
WalMart phone plan ( Pay as you go but reasonable pricing)
TMobile where I have a monthly plan and Customer service
Or lastly I can stay with At&t....... I would like to but this behaviour of please stay and Pay more to be happy, well does not sit well with me.
I do not need 20 more GB, 10 more would be plenty
at 20gb 4 people have 5gb a month
I remember just 6 months ago At&t complaining that more than 5gb a person is too much data and we are data hogs, so now they want us to have 30gb for 4 people or around 7gb a person
WOW
