I get the throddling arugment. I.E. we are paying for unlimited data not unlimited speed
HOWEVER:
I think the FTC does have a case and it stems from the little connection graphic at the top of our phones. How is it lawful to display LTE connection when in fact we are being throttled at 3G speeds. The fact that ATT displays LTE under connection while being throttled is i believe false advertising.
Also, you notifiy a customer only the 1st time speeds are being throttled- that could have been years ago? Why not notifiy the customer each and every time they are being throttled. I don't understand how it is legal to throttle a customer without nofiying them each time? Otherwise what is to stop ATT and other carriers from throttling speeds on different plans (i.e. the tiered plans not the unlimited ones?)
I hope this monopoly gets what they deserve but I know unfortunately nothing will change. I'm excited for FY15 because its the year I leave ATT!
