Hello. My mother has the 4gb mobile share plan for$120/mo, and there is a different plan that will increase her allowance by 2gb for a total of 6gb for $5 less. Will this take away the discount she receives or are there any hidden fee's that will just make it cost more than it does now if she switched?

I suspect your mom has the old mobile share plan. New plans were announced in February with new pricing and new data amounts. Whatever discount she is getting should apply to the new plan and it costs nothing to change. Just be advised, once the change is made she won't be able to change back since the old plans have been discontinued.

One main change with the new plan is the per line discount given to any line where the phone is out of contract (note: any line under a contract that started prior to Feb is treated as out of contract and gets the discount). That discount is in addition to any corporate discount and with the 6GB plan, the discount is $15/mo per line. If she upgrades any line to a new phone at the 2 year contract price, she loses the discount on that line. If she upgrades via the Next plan, she keeps the discount.
