I have been on AT&T for years and have NEVER gone through my data package, which was 2GB before the recent increase. I decided to save a little $ in the long term by buying my iPhone outright, unlocked, and switching to a prepaid GoPhone plan. Since switching I have burned through the data plan well ahead of my renewal date MANY times.
I do not stream very much music, almost zero video and I am almost always on WiFi unless I am in the car.
I find it HIGHLY suspicious that this is happening and I am being forced to pay an extra $10/gb on a regular basis now.
The only other new variable is my iPhone 5s - previously I had an iPhone 4.
Opinions? Is the 5s somehow gobbling a ton more data despite my unchanged habits?
