Never really saw it on any of 4 Verizon phones (been w/ them about 10 years). It was a feature that I used on when I logged in to verizonwireless.com> drop down on my verizon> select text message. I believe you can also log into www.vtext.com to access it. I cannot test it now because I just changed over to AT&T. However, it is a nice feature.
