And just when I was thinking we should consider the 30 GB plan in case of winter storms and loss of wifi.

I'm on Mobile share, so fine with me. I will be try not so seem smug while those on other plans cry, "unfair" or that this is just another plot to move everyone to Mobile Share ( duh )
☺️

I was on the 10GB plan for my wife & myself too, and I did move to the 30GB (15GB doubled) plan back in October.  My wife switched jobs and doesn't even try to connect to wifi while at work any more, and she switched from using iTunes to download & sync podcasts to her iPod Touch to using the Podcasts app and downloading directly on her iPhone, so her usage is up from about 7GB/month to about 12GB/month.  I've also stopped using wifi while at work and my usage is now up from about 2.5GB/month to about 3.5-4GB/month so we'll be getting some roll-over data now too.

As for moving to Mobile Share, I bet that if most people would sit down and do the math, they would find that Mobile Share (and NEXT) really costs about the same each month as their old legacy plans with their "unlimited" data.  For my wife & I I think it came out to about $2.50/month more to have a 10GB Mobile Share with 2 iPhone 6's on NEXT than we would have paid for the same 2 phones on our old 700 minutes Family Talk plan with Unlimited texts & unlimited data for both phones.  That gave us mobile hotspot & now data roll-over for only $2.50/month more, and the only thing we "lost" was the unlimited (but throttled) data if we both used over 5GB of data.  By adding the extra $30 to get the 15GB (doubled to 30GB) as well as the other features, I would say it is well worth the small increase in cost, especially since we get full LTE speeds for all the data usage.
