Re: Roll-Over Data

As for moving to Mobile Share, I bet that if most people would sit down and do the math, they would find that Mobile Share (and NEXT) really costs about the same each month as their old legacy plans with their "unlimited" data.  For my wife & I I think it came out to about $2.50/month more to have a 10GB Mobile Share with 2 iPhone 6's on NEXT than we would have paid for the same 2 phones on our old 700 minutes Family Talk plan with Unlimited texts & unlimited data for both phones.  That gave us mobile hotspot & now data roll-over for only $2.50/month more, and the only thing we "lost" was the unlimited (but throttled) data if we both used over 5GB of data.  By adding the extra $30 to get the 15GB (doubled to 30GB) as well as the other features, I would say it is well worth the small increase in cost, especially since we get full LTE speeds for all the data usage.

I did the math and the monthly service costs were about the same.  However, I would give up roughly $800 in subsidies over two years to move to a Mobile Share Value plan.  It doesn't make sense for me financially to change plans.

I like the sentiment, but rollover data wouldn't work well for me on my current plan.  I could see it being more sensible if I chose a smaller data plan on Mobile Share Value, but the monthly service cost is higher if you choose a smaller data plan.  None of the new plans really work well for me.
