Re: Unwanted texts

Hello! @Silverton   Thanks for posting your concerns.

I know how frustrating unwanted texts can be. If the messaging app is the stock app that came with the phone, then there won’t be a way to delete it, however most smart phones have the option to block numbers.

If you have an Android most of those devices will let you block it by registering it as spam. You would go to the message, select the number who sent the message, then tap menu and you should get either settings or register as spam number. If you get settings, you’ll want to make sure spam settings is ticked and select register number as spam.

An iPhone will allow you to block the number by tapping details the select the i next to the number in the message and selecting block this caller.

If your phone is a feature phone or does not have the blocking option, we have a service called AT&T Smart Limits which will allow you to block calls from your AT&T account. You can sign up by going to https://smartlimits.att.com/

Hope this helps!

Charise
