Cingular wireless ceased to exist in 2007. Just before the iphone was introduced and a year before the first android smart phone was introduced. Calling a pre 2007 phone a smart phone now is kind of a stretch. They had no where near the capability of phones made just 4 years later. Which is when unlimited plans stopped being offered.
