I would agree with you that I wish that rollover was used first. But as for the assertion that they don't let you know that, that's simply not true. It is in the fine print as the other poster pointed out, but it is there and I knew it the first time I read the terms. As far as NEXT is concerned, I have an iphone 6 plus I bought on NEXT. Maybe NEXT isn't for everyone, but for me it was the most cost effective way to get a new phone. I got the iphone using NEXT and the payment is 28 bucks and some change. I will also pay it off before 6 months goes by so my bill will return to normal. I have the 10 gig MSV Plan. If I had bought the phone using the traditional upgrade method I would have paid $299 for the phone, plus the $40 upgrade fee for a total of $339. Then I would have lost the $25 per month discount on the MSV plan for the two years, so that would have been another $600 for the two years, for a total of $939.00 for an iphone 6 plus 64 gig. Using next I will pay $849.99 over 30 payments unless I pay it off early and the sales tax when I got the phone of 7% for Florida of $59.49 for a grand total of $909.48. I can't see how anyone would think upgrading the traditional way is better or cheaper. In my case I saved $30.00 over what it would have cost by upgrading with a two year commitment. I also sold my old iphone for $250 so that offset the iphone 6 plus price as well.
