Thank you for your feedback. Rest assured that we are aware that the nature of the alerts affected customers are receiving differ from the emergency alerts. The repeated messages are in relation to testing the system. Our posting of the steps is intended for those who wish to opt out of alerts in general, while we are continuing to work on the test alert message issue in particular.
Thank you also for bringing it to our attention that the steps listed are incorrect for HTC device. I will work to have this updated for our HTC customer.
