Text message that I have a new voicemail but no new VM?

I dreaded the day that my phone became smarter than me because it meant I was officially old, lol.

Anyway I keep getting texts telling me I have Voicemail but when I check my VM, there are none. I'm lost to where these mysterious messages are going.
