When my wife upgraded her phone on our shared account my phone number was inadvertantly used. I was given a new simm card to re-activate my (i-phone 4) service that was lost in the process. Since then I had been unaware my voicemail was not functioning. When I checked; I found I had no messages and was directed to set up voicemail. All messages were lost in the process; some, from people dear to me ( not with us anymore).
I went to the AT&T store for help but, was told nothing could be done. Now I have a re-curring pop-up asking me to re-enter an incorrect voicemail password. I don't recall ever setting up the voicemail with a password. Perhaps if I had my old voicemails would return?
Would it be possible to find the old voicemails? If not; how do I eliminate the in-correct password pop-up?
Thanks! Greg.
