I was using Vodafone sim card for my iPad internet while in Istanbul, with personal hotspot.
I used the AT&T 5GB internet with pesonal hotspot on my iPad, for the time I stayed in the US.
When I got back to Istanbul I put back the old sim card and now I have no personal hotspot.
My ipad is an A1430: iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular 64 GB ios 7.0.4
Using the same vodafone sim card in other ipads or iphones, personal hotspot is available. No other sim card with personal hotspot service make this option available in my ipad.
If I put back the AT&T sim card, the personal hotspot option appears back, with a link to set it up.
I reset the network from the reset setting of the ipad, this did not help. There were several other recommendations on the internet like removing the sim card and then rebooting, turning Cellular off then back on etc. non of which worked.
On my internet search there was also recommendation for removing profiles. But I did not see a profiles tab on my ipad where it was supposed to be. I assume there are no profiles. But if AT&T did create a profile and I cannot find it, please do help me with it.
I may do a factory reset, but I do not want to this if I can avoid it at all.
Thanks
