I'm leaving in about a week on two week trip abroad. Trying to decide which international data roaming plan to sign up for. I'm leaning toward the $60/300mb plan which I think should be plenty, but just having some doubts. If I sign up for this plan and I go over then can I change to the $120/800mb plan after I get back? I'm also wondering if I should not sign up for any plan until after I get back and then take whichever one most closely matches my usage and (obviously) backdate it to the beginning of the billing cycle. Thoughts?
Also I found a topic on here from 2008 which says the following -
"I was told that it takes several weeks for AT&T billing to receive the data for my activity while traveling and therefore I must maintain the plan for an additional month. The claim is AT&T's billing system will base the charges on the plan in place when the billing happens *not* when the call is made. This rationale has the affect of forcing me to keep the plan for six weeks when I only need it for two."
Is the same still true today in 2013???
