I am a college student with a demanding schedule that involves a lot of internet access. The only problem is.... my campus internet is terrifyingly unreliable; there are outages at least twice a day for hours on end. It would be so wonderful to set up my phone as a personal hotspot so I don't fail my classes, but sadly AT&T thought it smart not to allow unlimited data plans have that capability. I understand this "no tethering" excuse... but I do not agree with it. Personally, it just seems like the company merely wants their customers to pay more for their data and not have the satisfaction of having unlimited internet access on all devices! My family has been loyal to AT&T for many years now and we all disagree with this decision, and I presume many more of your older customers are displeased as well. Can there ever be a silver lining to this rather stormy cloud?
