Re: FRAUDULENT DATA OVERAGE CHARGES

I was an AllTel customer for 20+years (smaller companies early on) They sold my Area to ATT. First bill came in the first of January 2015 and our first bill was $798.00. Imagine my surprise! Our AllTel was around $200 each month.  3 phones and hotspot wifi. As it turns out,  att said we used 29GB of data on our wifi, over The allowable 5 gig. It is myself, my husband and my 93 year old mother-in-law.  She can barely make a call with her flip phone.  We don't watch streaming movies,  no music downloads,  no Skype, etc. Only surfing, checking email, a little Facebook,  a few YouTube "how to" videos. Many hours on the phone with ATT customer service in January and the "... opened a case. .." and would get us a credit.  It's now March 16 and many, many phone calls with them over the last few months and it is still not credited. They "suspended" our service today.  Had to go to their store and call again.  1 and 1/2 hours later, they reconnected our service.  The"case" is still not resolved and again was told it would be 24 to 48 hours and the credit would be issued. That brings me to my newest bill.  They say we are over the 5 gig again by 4+gig and have charged an additional $93.00. There is no way we've used the 5 gig let alone an additional 4 gig!!!!! I will have to wait a couple of days hoping they resolve the first overcharge then file another complaint for the $92. Overcharge.  Any ideas from anyone.? No other people in the house and my husband barely does anything online so if it's really just me that uses the Internet.  It should be secure as I used the password given to us with the wifi little box thing.
