I was recently given a used unlocked AT&T Galaxy 4S. My work provides me with a Intermec CN50 with internet capabilities/phone and uses an AT&T sim card. Both of these devices use the same type of sim card. I was interested in swapping the sim card to the Galaxy 4S. What will happen? AT&T finds out and charges more? Or will it work just fine with no problems?
Reason for asking....The Intermec CN50 is big and bulky. The Galaxy 4S is pretty cool. I really only want to use it about two weekends a month for checking email. I don't need a plan as the same company provides me with a flip phone.
I am not concerned with data useage as we go through lots of it.
the device you are talking about is a specialty unit, would check with your place of employement if they will allow you to do this. There is a possiblity that there would be pro-rating of charges when you swap the sim cards around. The S4 also utilizes the micro sim, the CN50 appears to use a larger sized sim
