I’d be happy to help with this messaging issue! This is a known issue which arose recently and has been resolved in our network. Some customers are reporting the issue to continue due to the device storing the extra digits in memory.
If using an iPhone:
- Turn off iMessage and iCloud
- Delete impacted contact(s) from the device
- Delete ALL message conversations that include impacted contact(s)
- If you are unable to resolve, contact technical support (ATS file Clarify Case, if unable to resolve)
If using an Android or other device:
-Delete SMS thread and start a new one to correct the issue
