After a week of never-ending nonsense by ATT employees telling me that they won't unlock my phone, I walked into a Verizon store to see what sort of plans they have.....
VERIZON WILL SELL YOU AN iPHONE ON AN INSTALLMENT PLAN UNLOCKED FROM THE GET-GO !!
So here I am, never having been a Verizon client and they will sell me that and as a client at ATT for 23 years ATT won't unlock my phone like they did last year? Bye Bye ATT.
So I signed up and had Verizon transfer my number over to them. Coverage is great. Customer service so far is great. Unlocked phone is great ! The only drawback there is is that Verizon doesn't currently have rollover data. Well, that's not a deal breaker. I can always be more concious about not using my data so carelessly to check things over cellular when I really don't have to.
So there you go, so simple, no arguing with employees at Verizon about unlocking my phone. Hard to believe that ATT would sacrifice the next 20 years of monthly payments becuase they wouldn't unlock my phone. Someone needs to talk some sense into the corporate culture there.
